Business Program

At Movember, we recognise that every business is different and has different expectations from their participation in Movember, as such we work with each business to develop a tailored program. We take the time to understand the culture of a business, appreciating current altruistic activities and available resources, before helping to develop a relationship that will add genuine value to organisation.

Each year, Movember works alongside a large number of companies, from all corners of the business world, ranging in size from the relatively small, right up to some of the largest global corporations.  The contribution and level of involvement may vary but every effort helps Movember work towards achieving its vision; to have an everlasting impact on the state of men’s health.



Getting involved with Movember
There are many benefits participating in Movember can bring to a company, from team building and moral boosting to improving the understanding of the health risks men face and getting them to take action.  Depending on what you are seeking from the partnership will determine the exact nature and outcome of the relationship. Our aim is to build genuine, long term relationships that improve the health of your male staff. 

Movember in the workplace is FUN and it’s this aspect which tends to drive participation. Most people prefer to participate as part of a team, taking part with your workmates is fun and as a result a great amount of camaraderie is generated within the company. It’s this journey over a month that really develops a great team dynamic and produces a true feeling of comradeship, which has made Movember so popular within the workforce.

So what does a Partnership with Movember Offer?

Team Building

By its very nature, Movember acts as an excellent team building exercise. Staff of all levels, in different departments, across offices and sites are bought together each year by the experience of growing a moustache. The result is some healthy competition - who can grow the best Mo, who can raise the most money, which department or site has the most people registered, combined with some gentle ribbing ensures that the month is kept lively; effortless team fun all in the name of men’s health.

The Movember website is designed to enable companies to take part in several different ways – whether you set up one company team or register different teams based on departments or office locations and then linking them under a company network, the website can even facilitate interstate or international office rivalry.  Your company may also be eligible to take part in one of the Movember Industry Challenges - find out more about these Challenges by getting in touch with Movember.

And, despite being a charity focused on raising the issue of men’s health, Movember isn’t just for the guys. Mo Sistas have been pivotal to our success and nowhere is this more evident than in the workplace; organising office parties, registering and captaining teams, fundraising and ensuring that costumes for the end of month Gala events are arranged is what Mo Sistas do best.  

Delivering Health Messages to staff

Although a lot of fun, Movember has a very serious message to deliver. To ensure that this goal is achieved, we work closely with our partners to ensure that they have the necessary information and tools to help spread a positive health messages easily.



Dollar Matching
Company Dollar Matching is a great way for companies to encourage and support their staff. Movember can help set up your company’s dollar matching program. Any company that commits to match staff donations of $5,000 or more is recognised on the Movember website with their logo linking to the company site.
