In recognition of the outstanding efforts of Mo Bro James Dean in 2008, The Movember Foundation has created the ‘Mo Mo – James Dean Memorial Award’. Going forward, this will be awarded each year to the individual who raises the most amount of money during the Movember campaign in Australia. Closes 9am on the 10th December AEDT.
Congratulations to Mark Middleton, the highest fundraiser in Australia in 2012 who raised an outstanding $40,520!
PRIZE DETAILS
As the Mo Bro who raises the most amount of money, you and your Mo immortalised forever with you very own original Mo sketch by Archibald Prize finalist, Ngaire Devenport.
Devenport began her career as an artist painting in various different media, principally watercolour.
Born in Sydney in 1939, Devenport won a scholarship to East Sydney Tech at age 14 and studied there for 18 months before moving into the commercial world. She has exhibited at The King’s School Art Show (under her married name of Schoen) and the Hornsby Art Gallery, and has painted several commissioned portraits including one last year of Lady Ann Jenkins, wife of former Lord Mayor of London, Sir Brian Jenkins.
