Relish the challenge today brings and lets hope there is not to much controversy! The Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. Ph.D., Boston University (January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968) was an American Nobel Laureate, Baptist minister, and African American civil rights activist. He is one of the most significant leaders in U.S. history and in the modern history of non-violence, and is considered a hero, peacemaker and martyr by many people around the world. A decade and a half after his 1968 assassination, Martin Luther King Day, a U.S. holiday, was established in his honor. He also was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Spread the word folks like the good man Martin once did and support Mo-vember!

You could argue that today's Mo-Bro was the first ever metro-sexual! Well before his time! The girls loved him, he had the perfect body and the perfect Mo. Throw a pair of skinny jeans and a t-shirt on him and he would fit right into the modern world. Eugen Sandow (born Friederich Wilhelm Mueller on April 2 1867 in Königsberg, East Prussia, died on October 14 1925) was a pioneering bodybuilder of the Victorian era and is often referred to as the "Father of Modern Bodybuilding". Sandow's resemblance to the physiques found on classic Greek and Roman sculpture was no accident. He actually measured the marble artworks in museums and helped to develop "The Grecian Ideal" as a formula for the "perfect physique". He built his physique to those exact proportions. Because of this, he is considered to be the "Father of Modern Bodybuilding", having been one of the first athletes to intentionally developed his musculature to pre-determined dimensions. Sandow organized the first ever bodybuilding contest on September 14, 1901 called the "Great Competition" and held in the Royal Albert Hall, London, UK. Judged by himself, Sir Charles Lawes, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle the contest was a huge success and was a sell-out with hundreds of fans turned away. As recognition of his contribution to the sport of bodybuilding, a bronze statue of Sandow sculpted by Frederick Pomeroy has been presented to the Mr. Olympia winner since 1977. This statue is simply known as "The Sandow". A biography was written by David L. Chapman entitled: "Sandow the Magnificent - Eugen Sandow and the Beginnings of Bodybuilding." A massive thank you (because he is massive himself) to Shane Peters for his donation! Thank you Shane, on behalf of the Mo-hetos. As team MO-hetos are boxing on Thursday I thought it be best that our Historical Mo-Bro of the day be a famous boxer. I know, I know, he's not a real boxer, but he does have a real Mo - and that's what counts! Apollo Creed is a fictional character from the Rocky Films initially portrayed as the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World. He was played by Carl Weathers. Many believe his character was modelled after Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali while Rocky Balboa was based on relatively unknown fighter named Chuck Wepner. Wepner knocked Ali down in the 9th round of their 1975 title bout in Richfield, Ohio. Ali ultimately scored a Technical Knockout of Wepner in the 15th round, breaking Wepner's nose. Rocky ended up with a broken nose in his first bout with Apollo Creed. I would like to thank Felicity Stormon and Marita Muller for their wonderful donations today. Thank you for your support and encouragement. A special mention to our new team member, Grant Kempster! It's glad to see him take up the fight and grow a Mo. So come on everyone show your support and donate. To everyone, please spread the word, we need your help in raising funds.

"It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed." Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt (October 27, 1858 – January 6, 1919) was the 26th President of the United States (1901–1909). He is noted for his exuberant personality, range of interests and achievements, and his leadership of the Progressive Movement, as well as his "cowboy" persona and robust masculinity. Roosevelt's achievements as a naturalist, explorer, hunter, author, and soldier are as much a part of his fame as any office he held as a politician. Growing a Mo is no easy feat, but if we heed the advice of this great Mo-Bro, Mr Theodore Roosevelt then we will have no problem come December 1, but only if you help!. My fellow Mo growers and I plan not to fail, but we need your help! Believe in us, by donating! Without your kind donations our efforts go unheralded, so please support us by donating online at: http://mobro.co/fpdp311 "Believe you can, and you are half way there."

As leader of the MO-hetos mo-growing team I will endeavour to provide you with a bit of Moustache History each day, starting with the most famous law keeping moustache; Wyatt Berry Stapp Earp (March 19, 1848 - January 13, 1929), was an officer of the law, gambler and saloon keeper in the Wild West. I hope in doing so this encourages everyone to support us and donate to a good cause.
