About This Network

Welcome to the official Ausgrid Network! Last year we came 6th on the network leaderboard so we’re really proud to continue our involvement with Movember. We have lots of cool prizes, events and incentives to get you mo-tivated. If you work for Ausgrid, register to this network to join your fellow Mo Bros and Mo Sistas and start fundraising. Search ‘Movember’ on The Wire to see what’s happening or contact Sri Suntharesan. Don’t forget that once you have raised $100 you will be eligible for an Ausgrid Community Care grant to increase your tally by $100!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of your efforts with Movember this year! We will keep the fundraising open until the end of the month just to get the last few grants in as well. Also, this year we will have raised more than $500,000 for Movember since we first started the campaign! This is a huge achievement and you should all be proud of yourselves for the contributions that you have made.

The South Community Care team had a BBQ breakfast last Thursday morning to celebrate Movember. The highlight of the event was the shaving of Steve Morley. Ausgrid staff member Paul Maher set a challenge for Steve: raise $500 and we will shave off the moustache that you have grown for 35 years. Here you can see him getting shaved by Debbie Cobbin. Steve has now raised more than $1000 and looks like a new man.

Central Coast had a BBQ lunch to celebrate Movember last Thursday and raised $345. One of the highlights of the event was presenting the 10kg chocolate raffle prize to winner, Marian Chapman. Many thanks to Team Ausgrid DP Mo and Co for organising such a great prize! They raised over $2000 just from this.

Hi All, If anyone has spare Gala Party Tickets that they will not be using or if you are eligible but have not claimed, my daughter and two of her girlfriends are after some so if you could email them to me that would be fantastic. Having said that if you are considering going to the Gala Party DO IT. It is an excellent night. Yours in Mo, Wayne Armstrong
