Thank you for taking the time to check out my Movember page I really appreciate it. Here is a bit of info about myself and what I do:

My name is Tyler Brodie better known as T-BRO. I’m from Benalla and I have been doing Movember since 2015 where I raise funds for Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention.
I organise and run my very own Movember called:
T-BRO’s Movember.

I discovered Movember after I unfortunately lost my best mate & brother Dylan to suicide, I thought growing a Mo and raising money was a great idea to help and it would be a great conversation starter as I want to help remove the stigma that is around Mental Health and to also encourage everyone as well that it’s okay not to be okay and that it’s not weak to speak. I do Movember every year in honour of Dyl.

Since starting T-BRO’s Movember in 2015 I did a sausage sizzle out the front of Woolworths Benalla (where I use to work) for a day to raise money but ever since Covid-19 I wasn’t able to hold my sausage sizzle.
I didn’t let Covid stop me and I decided instead to do a raffle in which local businesses would donate a prize for me to raffle off to help raise funds and that way I can do the raffle for the whole month.

Doing my Movember through Covid as well was extremely important to me because as we know lots of people were in isolation and not being able to see or be with the people they love and thus would of caused a lot of mental health problems and unfortunately the rate of deaths by suicide increased as well due to lockdown.

I start off my Movember early as well when it becomes October the 1st I’m in Movember mode organising my tickets, talking to business and also getting my merchandise sorted as well where I have hats and stubby holders which has my logo on it that people can buy which helps spread the word of T-BRO’s Movember and starts the conversation around Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention as well, which is what I’m all about and the Mo is a great conversation starter as well.

My Nan (Lyn Sargood) always told me every year during my Movember that I’m very lucky that I come from a family of good Mo growers being my Dad, Brodes and my Pop, Euroa legend
John “Sargie” Sargood.
My younger brother Conor also grows a Mo in support of me. My girlfriend Teagan, my Mum Trace, my sister in-law Chloe and my in-law’s The Clark’s also support me along with all my other family and friends.

I have now raised just over $23,000 in the last 10 years now and last year I raised a total of $7326 which was the biggest total raised for the month of Movember.

The prizes for my last ever T-BRO’s Movember raffle are as follows:

Prize 5: 2 slabs of Largo, valued at $125 donated by Largo Brewing, created by Oli & Lou of Lime Cordiale

Prize 6: TaylorMade Speed Soft Golf Balls 12pk & TaylorMade hat, valued at $75 donated by Drummond Golf Shepparton

Prize 7: $50 Voucher, donated by Burkes Bakery Euroa

Prize 8: $50 BWS gift card, donated by BWS Shepparton & BWS Shepparton East

Prize 9: $50 Wish gift card, donated by Woolworths Shepparton & Woolworths Shepparton East

Prize 10: Movember Banner, valued at $40 donated by Movember Australia

Bonus Prize: A hamper from the Eco Store, Run by Shepparton Access, prize is on behalf of Sam Birrell MP.

Tickets at $5 each or 3 for $10.
Raffle to be drawn on the 30th of November and the winners will be contacted by phone.
