My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. With country areas of Australia going through drought and farming communities facing increasing financial stress, too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. The Movember Foundation is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, Please help me to help them.

Moustaches have been shaved, leaderboards have been closed, and eternal glory has been achieved.

It is my great honour to announce the Top 5 from this year’s Mo Government & Council Challenge.

Collectively, this community of 1,376 Mo’s from 245 teams across Australia raised an incredible $434,129. Just unbelievable.

This is where change is being made. You are the people creating a better future for men’s health. So from the tips of our moustaches to the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every one of you for the wonderful impact you’ve made.

Keep on changing the world,
Josh from Team Movember

Some serious movement in the rankings, and even more serious funds raised, with the Government and Council Challenge cracking $200,000 for 2023!

These funds go directly to lifesaving programs, helping men live healthier, longer lives. Every one of you has made that possible - thank you.

The leaderboards don't close until the 12th of December, so time for a final push and share those Mo Spaces far and wide! Could there be a late shift in the top 5?

It's not over 'til it's Mo-ver,

Wow oh wow. Halfway through and we are blown away by your support.

After only 15 days, the Mo Government and Council Challenge is sitting just shy of $100,000 raised. This community is well and truly changing the face of men's health.

Give yourselves a huge pat on the back and keep up the incredible work. A big couple of weeks of goodness on the way.

Inspired by you all,
Josh from Team Movember

Government and Council Mo's of Australia, we are LIVE!!!

Just like that, Movember has begun. So shave down those upper lips, get those running shoes on, and start shouting about the amazing cause that is men's health.

We've got 425 of you incredible people signed up and you've already raised an incredible $13,500. And it's only the 1st of Movember?!

So share those Mo Spaces far and wide, keep encouraging your colleagues and community to sign up, and keep on changing the face of men's health. Thank you for everything you're doing.

It's Mo time,

Well the face furniture has been removed as I prepare for yet another Movember. Once again I am captain of the Moberon team, representing the town of Oberon. This year the Mayor of Oberon has issued a challenge to the Mayor of Cabonne (which includes the town of MOlong) to see who can raise the most money. As well as growing a moustache, I am also committing to MOve during the month, getting active and walking at least 2-3km a day. Please consider donating to me as an individual or the Oberon team.

12 days into Movember and I have finally got something to show for it, so you can start donating to the cause. I have a sneaking suspicion I am going to end up looking like John Cleese, (but without the cranky disposition).

I've taken off the beard and Mo and it's time to start again.
