Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

It’s okay to not be okay. Masculinity is no longer defined by a “strength” of hiding your issues, but rather the strength of vulnerability. Share - chat - check-in. That’s what mates are for.

Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

Move-mber Run #7
About all I could muster today!

Check-in Tip 8: When a mate checks in, find a way to reply. Take your time, keep it simple, and write back. You’ll feel lifted by the convo.

Check-In Tip 5: The hardest part is sending that first message. It gets easier!

Move-mber Session #3

Today sucked. Real hard. Stopped multiple times. It is what it is - back tomorrow to go again!

Check-in Tip 3: be patient waiting for a reply. Give time and space, allowing those you’re checking in on the chance to build up to reply.

Move-mber Session #2

Didn’t feel as bad as yesterday but Geeze the calves are poppin’.
Slowed to a walk 1 time for 20m so an improvement on yesterday, and maintained a more balanced pace too.

Check in tip 2: Write someone a handwritten note. Doesn’t have to be Shakespeare, in fact is probably better if it isn’t, but the care a handwritten note shows is another key to having others let their guard down. Can also be rather therapeutic for you too!

I struggled. Big time. First run in over 3 months. I dropped to a walk three times.
I’ll be better tomorrow - incremental gains.

Check In Question tip 1: Be specific. Being specific shows them you’re invested in their world, and may allow them to relax.
