My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Life doesn't need to be as hard as it is sometimes, it's easy to get caught up in focusing on negative events in our lives or perceived injustices. In the same way if you want to buy a jeep you start noticing jeeps everywhere, if you're focused on negative events all you end up seeing is how unfair the world is. A few years ago I had an event come up in my life that devastated me emotionally, for the first time in my life i sought help but realized frustratingly after months of no progress that this event was intertwined with other issues from my life and without truly understanding myself i'd never be happy. i decided to open up and start talking to people that i knew about how i felt and they in turn shared their stories with me, some people were just as lost as i was, while others had made progress and in hearing their stories i realised some of their problems sounded a lot like my own so i could try the things they tried to move forward. 2 years ago i hired a personal trainer who also turned out to be the most influental person of my life in personal growth, and ironically i now focus more on mental health than physical health. the main thing i have learned is that if i focus on what i can do to be better and put all my energy into that instead of what everyone else is doing my life improves dramatically and obviously i feel heaps better. i have chosen to log as many Km's as i can and focus on living healthy to show others what can be achieved when all my effort goes into self improvment
