$2.5 million awarded to top cancer researcher

Leading Australian cancer researcher Professor Wayne Tilley was today presented with a $2.5 million Breast & Prostate Cancer Linkage Grant, thanks to a ground breaking collaboration between the Movember Foundation and the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). This award will enable Professor Tilley and collaborators to explore an innovative new treatment path for breast and prostate cancer, which has potential to transform the lives of women and men around the world afflicted with breast or prostate cancer.

Unmute - ask him

It’s not always easy to know how a man is really doing, which is why the Movember Foundation is encouraging the people around men to take themselves off mute and ask a man if he’s doing okay.

Boys to Men

Most people would agree they want to raise their kids into happy, well-adjusted young adults. So why are we still teaching our young boys to emulate an outdated version of masculinity that has contributed to a men’s mental health crisis in this country?

How Big Is Your Organ

Cock-sure men the world over have been assuming they know what women find attractive for years. The Mate Test

MAAAATE! It’s our national bloke greeting, offered with a smile and an outstretched paw at pubs, bbq’s and man gatherings all over Oz. Most people agree mateship is at the core of what it means to be Australian. It’s hard to put your finger on exactly why, but it’s hard to understand the physics behind a Shane Warne leg-break and we accept that, because we’ve seen it.

Help Seeking Behaviour

A huge barrier to help-seeking is the stigma attached to mental health. Many blokes are unwilling to have a conversation with a friend or family member for fear of being judged or appearing vulnerable or weak.

Uniting to Fight Cancer

We’re joining forces with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, funding research to help transform the lives of men and women around the world diagnosed with prostate and breast cancer.
