Our Motivation

Just a couple of boi's who care about the health and wellbeing of other boi's.

The four of us have each been affected by mental ill-health in different ways, and we have seen the effect it has on our mates, too. We're hoping that our terrible mo's will spark important conversations, before something terrible happens.

Help us encourage meaningful dialogue, more frequent check-ups at the GP and healthier habits for the boi's in our lives by donating, joining us for a walk or sliding into our DM's for a chat.

Why Skägg Bróðirs?

The Nordic words for ‘beard’ and ‘brothers’ respectively, the four of us (Matt, Nic, Andrew, Ryne) all played, volunteered and worked for the Tuggeranong Vikings Rugby Club for well over a decade. Whether the translation is correct is for our Scandinavian friends to decide, but our experience at the club left an indelible mark on our lives—and our ability to find support when we’ve needed it most.
