My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Every hour, 60 men around the world take their own lives. These are fathers, sons, brothers, mates.

Mental health can be an uphill battle, and too many fight it alone. So this Movember, I’m running 60 miles and running up 60 hills, one of each for every man we lose each hour, and to show anyone fighting that battle right now that they don’t have to do it alone.

Over 30 days I’ll cover the miles and take on 60 hills across where I grew up, in Co. Clare and where I live now, Melbourne. I'll be mixing road climbs, gravel tracks, forest trails and bog (if i can find), the kind of hills I’d normally go out of my way to avoid. In Ireland, 4 in 5 deaths by suicide are men. In Australia, it’s 3 in 4. Every mile and every hill is for a man we’ve lost, and every dollar you give helps Movember fund mental health and suicide prevention programs so fewer families lose someone.
