Who I Am & Why This Matters
I believe that no man should have to walk the path of depression alone. For many, the "Black Dog" is a constant companion that thrives in silence. I’m lacing up my running shoes to break that silence and bring awareness to men’s mental health. This isn't just about the physical challenge; it’s a commitment to outrunning the darkness and showing that there is a way forward, one step at a time.
What I Am Doing
I am currently training for a series of marathons and pushing myself to new limits. Every kilometre I run is a dedicated effort to raise vital funds for resources, support, and advocacy for men who are struggling. I've been tracking my progress and staying focused on the goal—not just for the finish line, but for the impact every donation makes.
Event Details
I am lacing up for a massive series of challenges to keep the momentum going. I will be participating in the following events:
Canberra Times Marathon: April 12th
Brisbane Marathon: June 7th
Gold Coast Marathon: July 5th
Sunshine Coast Marathon: August 2nd
Melbourne Marathon: October 11th
Each of these races represents a new opportunity to outrun the "Black Dog" and raise more awareness for men's mental health.
How You Can Help
Your support does more than just fund a run; it funds hope. Whether it's a small donation or sharing this page, you are helping to keep the "Black Dog" at bay and ensuring that the light stays in for those who need it most.
