My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

I lost my dad to suicide in December 2022, and honestly, my world changed forever.

So in 2023, I started Run For Resilience.

What began as a small charity run on the Gold Coast in honour of my dad has grown into a movement that brings people together through movement, community and conversation. Over the past three years, we've had hundreds of people run, walk and show up for mental health, raising more than $25,000 along the way.

This year, Run For Resilience is bigger than ever, with events across the Mornington Peninsula, Gold Coast and Surf Coast. Our goal is to raise $20,000 for Movember and continue creating spaces where people feel supported, connected and reminded that they are not alone.

Then in November, I'll take on my annual MO.ve For Resilience challenge. What started as me running 60km in 24 hours has grown into a community movement, with people across Australia coming together to run, walk, row or ski for men's mental health.

I do this for my dad.

I do it for the men we've lost too soon.

And I do it for anyone who is struggling in silence and needs a reminder that there are people who care.

Together, we're proving that movement starts conversations, community saves lives, and that no one should have to carry it all alone.
