That's right, at this stage I'm willing to stoop to cheap bedroom photos to entice your money out of your purses... and wallets... I guess. It's hard NOT to look like a 70s porn star with a moustache. Oh and I've started sculpting the mo now because it's getting so thick and unruly!

Today I got a gift in the mail from my wife who is being as mo supportive as she can without risking the mo becoming permanent. Oh and the pin says I support your and it is a picture of a moustache :) You can't really make it out but that is Moustache Wax :)

The mo is now a beast of it's own, I will have to start shaping it to get the Magnum PI look - probably tomorrow - I've been pretty crook too and there is nothing like having a mo when you have a head cold!!

Yup it's well and truly established now, men in the street also growing mo's are nodding in recognition. As I mentioned yesterday it's all about filling in the thickness of the mo to reach Magnum PI critical mass.

Sorry for the break in updates, we had no hot water for a couple of days and it made shaving not so much fun. But here it is, into the second week and I now have a fully functioning mo. It's not a Magnum PI by any means yet, I expect to be closing in on it by this Friday though, I'll at least have a much better idea of what shaping will have to be done. I think if I was single this would be the photo I would use on a dating site nothing says awesome like bed head, aquaman and a moustache.

I've been taken to task for not smiling enough, so I thought on Day 5 I might change that and show some teeth. Settle on down people! I also though today might be the day to change my profile pic over to show some of the progress of the Magnum PI mo. Big thank you to everyone who has donated money so far - that's really awesome. I did also almost shave the bloody thing off through simple habit last night, that would have been a disaster!

Yesterday's update featured a much grumpier looking mo growing than he actually was. Today I was just hot. That is in temperature of course, it was quite a bit warm at home. The mo at this stage is filling in but not so much in length - but it does stand out more today. You can't see it in the photo but I am wear very tight denim short shorts to get into the whole Magnum PI part - trying to encourage growth. It is an ugly, ugly piece facial hair at this stage.

So the mo depending on the light is still struggling to break free of my normal day to day stubble. I cut myself shaving last night too - quite bad - the mo must be throwing me off my game. Magnum PI read comic books right? Right??

So already on day two we have a shadow forming on the top lip, I'm beginning to see how ugly this is going to be for the first week or so, like a caterpillar turning into a beautiful butterfly. I told everyone at work today that I'm doing this - I don't want them thinking I'm growing facial hair for nefarious reasons. I hope that Ferrari is worth it! Thinking of changing my ringtone to the Magnum PI theme.

OK so I shaved around the foundations where the Magnum PI Mo will be growing in. Fortunately I guess, my facial hair grows really quickly so there is already stubble coming through and by tomorrow or the next day I'll have a 'my first moustache when I was a teenager' kind of mo going. I'm starting to regret it already as I think about the first week and how horrible it is going to look!! But at this early stage you don't even really notice it as you can see in the photo.
