My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health

Hey team- this is my 19th year of growing a mo. It’s such a simple and effective way to raise awareness for men’s health.
You can read my original call to action below.
This year though, I’ve had added motivation. Two of my best mates have been hit with cancer - bladder and bowel.
Cancer sucks - and they’re fighting it hard - and fortunate they both got to it reasonably early - because they got check ups. So please - get your regular check ups everyone. It could save you.

Update: October 2022, Dad has been rocked by a recurrence of the prostate cancer. His annual check up revealed the bad news. He’s fighting it again.
Please, everyone, get your regular check ups.

23 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It nearly killed him. He fought a tough battle and beat it. His brother was not so lucky - losing his life to the disease and leaving a loving family behind.
My dad is a minister, and he took my uncle's funeral.
The words, "and now as I lay my brother to rest" brought tears to everyone present...
The memory will stay with me forever.

Every year I support Movember by growing a new mo - for 17 years now!
I also have my annual health-check, and urge others to do the same.
