Dear Friends and Family,

Several years ago, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. As a result of early detection and treatment, he was fortunate enough to recover. It’s through the research and initiatives funded by organisations like Movember, that my father was given a second chance.

Two years ago, my mother suffered a brain aneurysm and required major brain surgery. Following a lengthy period in a coma and on life support, eventually she woke up and was able to recover through months of rehabilitation.

Shortly after my mother recovered, my wife gave birth to our beautiful angel Eirini (Irene). She was only with us for a little while before she was given her wings and became our special guardian angel.

There wasn’t a glimmer of light during some of my darkest days.

Movember funds projects and initiatives that help give people like me hope, through creating awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.

This is why I am once again raising money for Movember, a charity and cause that I am deeply proud of and is very close to my heart supporting men's health issues.

Since 2010 I have raised $12,770. Thank you to all my sponsors over the years. Your contributions and generosity are greatly appreciated.

This year my goal is to raise $4,001 - this is $1 more than my personal best fundraising effort in 2020.

This cause is incredibly personal for me. I have battled with anxiety and mental health issues. It can be embarrassing; it also makes me vulnerable. I so proud to support this remarkable charity and cause that supports men’s health challenges globally.

Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. I'm supporting the Movember Foundation because they’re tackling some of the most significant health issues faced by men. We can help stop men dying too young, funding vital prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention projects. Together we can make a difference for men's health.
