My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

My name is Dr. Jim. This is my story of turning to music, starting a mens mental health charity, Im Just A Man Foundation, that support Movember from an event that changed my life forever.

9 years ago, I experienced extreme financial and emotional stress when my business and home burnt down making national news. I opened up, reached out & spoke at my most vulnerable time. Back on my feet, it was important for me to give back to the community.

Since then, we've had seven (7) 'I'm Just A Man' Gala events, with over 1200 attendees, 50+ speakers, dozens of volunteers giving over 10000 hours for our message, raising awareness & fundraise for Men's Mental Health on or around Michael Hutchences' anniversary of his passing.

I was also, sadly inspired from the anxiety, depression and suicides of Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington.

We all know someone, a brother, mate, father, colleague who has suffered with mental health. Help us to make a difference.
