And just like that, the hairiest month of the year is behind us. What a wild ride.
In our mission to change the face of men’s health, we were joined by thousands of Mo Bros and Mo Sistas across the world. They grew moustaches, they ran, they walked, they partied, they held tournaments, quiz nights, climbed mountains, washed cars – you name it, someone somewhere was doing it, and all to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Here are just a few highlights of what’s been one hell of a Movember.
We kicked things off with a few famous faces sharing little-known (and surprising) facts about the moustache.
Ambassador Nathan Birch, who lost his best friend to suicide, clocked the world’s highest Shave Down when he farwelled his facial hair atop Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The landmark stairs of Melbourne’s State Library housed 45 tombstones representing the 45 men Australia would lose to prostate cancer and testicular cancer between the installation on Monday 28 October and Movember’s launch on Friday 1.
Sydney Mo Bros stripped down to their budgy smugglers to Host a fundraising car wash.
Adelaide trams sported awareness-raising moustaches throughout the entire month of Movember.
A waterborne Mo was spotted in New South Wales.
A giant Mo rises above Perth.
Movember barbers shaved down local firefighters, first responders and celebrity supporters of men’s health on Movember 1st in Culver City, CA.
Movember staff rang the NASDAQ opening bell in New York City on Movember 15th to mark the month of Movember in Times Square.
Mo Bros and Mo Sistas participated in the Movember Undie Run presented by SAXX in Los Angeles and New York on Movember 9th.
Runner Kelsey Brown was one of 33 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas in support of Movember from around the globe who ran the 2019 TCS New York City on Movember 4th.
Back for their third year of growing moustaches for men’s health, the Washington State Ferries showed off their new look for the month.
CycleBar hosted a Movember benefit ride on Movember 16th in Los Angeles with celebrity instructor Jonathan Bennett.
Movember partnered with NBC Sports Regional Networks as they released the national documentary HeadStrong: Mental Health and Sports.
Mo Bros and Mo Sistas bared all (well almost) in the cold for the Toronto Undie Run presented by SAXX on Movember 9th.
Toronto Emergency Services got into the Movember spirit.
The Montreal Canadiens celebrated Movember with a Mo on the ice during a game against the Boston Bruins on Movember 5th.
Movember hosted a day full of hair-raising activities at QIPCO British Champions day on October 19th, including cuts and conversations in the barber chair.
The Movember: In the Barber Chair podcast launched with a series of open and honest conversations on what it means to be a modern man.
YO! raised funds and awareness throughout the month with awesome initiatives such as the 'guy-oza' menu, which featured a guide to checking in with friends who might be struggling.

St. Paul’s Cathedral got in the Movember spirit.
Things got a little hairier at Marble Arch.
