Real estate mogul and YouTuber Daniel Hayes is set to support men’s mental health by riding across the Nullarbor Plain on a monkey bike (that’s a scaled down ‘minibike’ for those not in the know!)

Having racked up quite a few long-haul motorbike rides, including a trip to Everest on his Harley Davidson, Hayes is set to embark on his most dangerous ride yet to raise much-needed funds and awareness for men’s health and suicide prevention.

Hayes’ has more than 7,500kms ahead of him on his journey from Geelong to Perth (and back), that’s approximately 80 hours on a bike that doesn't exactly scream ‘comfort'.

He aims to complete the trip in just 10 days and is hoping to raise $100,000 for Movember along the way.

As well as battling his own mental health problems, Hayes lost his younger brother to suicide two years ago. Hayes is combining his passion for motorbikes and suicide prevention to help spread the word and tackle men’s health issues.

Setting off on his fundraising adventure today, Hayes has already raised over $30,000, attracting donations from all over the world through his YouTube videos.
