My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

From 2020 to today has been a challenging time for many for so many reasons; COVID, separation and loss of loved ones, War in Europe and general uncertainty in the world. For me personally the last few years have thrown the biggest challenges I have ever faced with the loss of my Dad to prostate cancer in 2020 and then my beautiful son Izaak took his own life earlier this year. I am hoping that my small efforts to raise funds will help raise awareness of both prostate cancer and mental health. I want to give people the courage to get regular health check-ups and importantly to look each other when it comes to mental health. To bring this home I have changed my profile pic to be one of my Dad, Izaak and I from a few years ago when times were much simpler.
I know there are many great causes to support so I understand if you don't choose to donate, but I do ask that you go and get a health check and also you call up a friend (male or female) and ask if they are ok as that costs nothing but can have a massively positive impact.
