My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

My primary motivator is the loss of my friend Tod to suicide some years ago. I see suicide having the potential for a chain reaction as a depression trigger for others. Preventing one suicide can have a deep and lasting ripple effect. Following a prostate scare of my own a couple of years ago, that too remains topical. The integrity and methodology of Movember makes it a worthy recipient of your, and my, support.

If it was a crazy hair event I'd be doing well. Mo gress is slow. Pitch in some dollars my friends and help it along. Say "wine" in your comments and every $5 you donate gets another ticket in a bottle of 1999 Wynn's John Riddoch from my cellar.

G'day Chris, Julian here - the community engagement manager over at Mo HQ.
Thought I’d drop by to say a big hairy thanks for flying the flag for men’s health this year.
You’re smashing your fundraising all in the name of a bloody important cause – to help men live happier, healthier and longer lives. You've already raised over$2,000, what an incredible effort! There’s still plenty of fun to be had this Hairy Season so keep it up legend.

Channeling Merv Hughes this year but I think it will take me 12 months to get the look.

Today at work they took my Mo. More importantly, I smashed my target. Thanks everyone. Your support is truly appreciated. It's a little bit of good we can bring to the world together.

Not long to go now. Looks like I'll fall short of the mark, but I've given it a good go. Just had beers with a mate who's doing it tough with a cancer treatment. Words fall well short of what we need to offer, but they are all we can deliver as individuals. Movember brings the strength of the crowd. Maybe it defines what crowd funding is really about. Not individual success but all for all.

Ticket sales are cracking along for my 1997 Penfolds Bin 707. Dan Murphys say this is a $499 bottle. It will be drawn Wednesday afternoon 8th Movember. Mention the raffle with your donation and I'll put a ticket in your name for every $5 donated.

Not much to show on day 2, but fund raising has kicked off well with a successful morning tea yesterday.

Note: As donations can be made privately, not all donations are displayed to the public.
