My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Men's health

Suicide claimed the life of my grandfather when I was 13, and also a high school mate almost 10 years ago. That's 2 too many. Too often I hear of others losing their lives in the same kind of way, mainly male victims. The fact is that 75% of suicide cases in Australia are men. This shit needs to stop!

Raising awareness to the mental issues surrounding men's health may just be enough to encourage a lad to speak out, seek help, and break out of the spell. There's a lot more to the Movember movement than just growing a cookie duster and donating money. It reminds us to be mindful of others and to take action if you notice a mate behaving differently or out of character. We can all make a positive impact on our mates, even just by catching up and having a laugh about the day, or checking in through a phone call every now and then. It doesn't take much, and you might help someone a lot more than you realise.
