$500

Target: $1,000
My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

This is my 15th year of participating in Movember and I am doing it for my mate Drew and all others that have suffered from mental illness.

Men traditionally find it difficult to express their feelings, something I have struggled with myself. We need people and places where we feel comfortable enough to share our feelings and then are able to give and receive feedback and support.

Supporting someone with a mental illness is not a one off check in, it is an ongoing support, including a positive space for real and honest conversations. I aim to create these supportive spaces for people in all aspects of my life, and give positive interactions to people more often.

I want to thank the people in my life who have constantly checked in, and those that have created an honest and positive space for me to share feelings and have real conversations with.

Lets work together to support men's mental health. Share my page, share my teams page, donate, like, comment. Aim to check in with someone regularly or be more positive and supportive in your workplace. Create a positive space for everyone to share and feel a sense of belonging.

How I'm

Well done Tim! You should be proud of yourself for not only raising money for a great cause but also for raising awareness of something that impacts too many people.

Hey Tim, thought I’d drop by to say a big hairy thanks for flying the flag for men’s health again this year (- 13 years woah!!!).
You’re smashing your fundraising all in the name of a bloody important cause – to help men live happier, healthier and longer lives. I can see you have a really personal connection – thanks for sharing and being a champion for others. There’s still plenty of fun to be had this Hairy Season so keep it up legend.
