My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer

I've been dealing with Stage 4 prostate cancer for 13 years now!

I'm very thankful for the support of Movember in raising awareness of and research funds for prostate cancer, which has helped me directly.

I grew a moustache once in my 20's, and it was so pathetic my friends used to ask if my eyebrows had come down I for a drink!

Cancer treatment involves drastic testosterone suppression, so I’m not confident of a good Mo this year ! I’m reliably informed though that my moustache is motivated by money, so please send money to help me grow a mo!

Only one day to go ! I’d love to get above my total last year, but jf not, then at least to $4,000 would be great. Can you help

53 Week(s) Ago

My mo is struggling, but so is my fundraising goal.

This year over 3000 men in Australia will die from prostate cancer. Two thirds of men diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer (like me) die in less than 5 years.

Please contribute funds towards research to improve those terrible numbers

So,
I’m back again, for another whacky moustache :)
Please help me raise funds for life changing prostate cancer research. Or if you have men in your lives with testicular cancer, or you want to help combat male suicide, Movember supports those causes too.

Good timing for me this year, as I will be restarting hormone treatment in December. My last round of radiation didn’t help much, and I have 3 new lesions on latest PET scan. So it’s my last chance to grow a decent moustache for a while. Well, I say decent, I guess i mean visible

Hi Steve,
Thanks for sharing your motivation and that you've first hand seen the impact of the funds raised by our fantastic Mo Community. Thought I’d drop by to say a big hairy thanks for flying the flag for men’s health again this year. There’s still plenty of fun to be had this Hairy Season so keep it up! You're doing a fantastic job!
