I'M GETTING A HAIRCUT!

MOVEmber is back for its 5th and potentially biggest year yet!

Unfortunately I've had some injuries and a fairly extended layoff through winter. So this year won't be my biggest ever km effort, but after so much time off just starting again can be daunting. I'm sure plenty of people can understand that fear of not being able to do what you used to.

And so that's the goal this year - simply starting again, letting go of all the comparisons, not injuring myself, and focusing on re-building healthy routines. I'll be adding some fun to the regime through randomness by rolling dice each day. Maybe you could do the same for your own MOVEmber challenge.

And for an extra twist, I'll get a range of different haircuts along the fundraising journey and keep whatever I end up with for the rest of the year. Check back for update photos.

This year I'm letting fate decide how many km I run. I'll be rolling 2x dice and running the sum each day. But everyone knows Sunday is long run day so I'll be subbing in a "special" dice for those.

First cut down. Not quite as puffy as the David Spade version, but I tried. Would've loved to strut my stuff at the Flanno 5k but will definitely be there next year.

Thanks to all that have donated so far. I'm feeling confident so will be straight to the skullet next. Videos to come...

Hey Darrell, thought I’d drop by to say a big hairy thanks for flying the flag for men’s health again this year. We are lucky to have your continued support! You are going above and beyond to encourage and support your community with your challenge this year. 574 km is not an easy task, keep inspiring!

You’re smashing your fundraising again, all in the name of a bloody important cause – to help men live happier, healthier and longer lives. People like you fuel our fire. We couldn’t do what we do without you. There’s still plenty of fun to be had this Hairy Season so keep it up legend.

United we Mo - Felicity from Mo HQ.
