Mental health and suicide prevention

Time to bring it back! I have a pledged that if BHP’s Future Fit Academy Perth can raise $5000 for the Movemeber foundation I will shave my beard and leave only my bare skin and a dashing moustache. Find out why below.

Suicide is still the leading killer of young people in Australia; In 2021, there were 3,144 deaths by suicide – an average of about 9 deaths per day. My own mental health has been a battle of ups and downs and I have seen first hand the men around me struggle and suffer. I hope my loss (RIP beard) and your donations will help those who need it most and more importantly empower and encourage all people to speak up and reach out, to remove the stigma from talking about the tough stuff and to hopefully make a few people smile along the way
