My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention
Men's health

In 2013, I lost my Dad to suicide and it was something I struggled to talk about for a really long time - I was a part of the stigma that surrounds men’s mental health. After learning what Movember was all about in 2018 I quickly realised I wanted to help make a change to the face of men’s health and did my first official campaign in 2019. In 2021 my psychologist took his life and this only brought fuel to the fire that helped me continue to tell my story and talk about why it’s so important that men open up about their mental health. I’ve seen too many people lose loved ones and I want to help raise awareness, help start conversations and break down that stigma I was once a part of. I’ll continue to get uncomfortable so the men in my life don't have to be.
