My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

November is a special month to me its’(Movember), where we all call on each other to watch out, listen, assist, and support our teammates, friends, and loved ones. Awareness is the greatest gift one can have. For all those that have lost someone my actions this month are a tribute to that loss.

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence. Movember is aiming to reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

In 2018 one of our well-liked and respected workers took his own life at age 24. On November 30th, 2020 , our Brisbane Rail team suffered another terrible loss, when sadly one more young life was cut short at age 21.

These sad and unexpected tragedies serve as a reminder just how short life really is, and just what an impact it has on all close to them. Their personal battles were not known to me or those around them, both well-liked and respected, great work colleagues and so much of life ahead.

Their memories will not be forgotten. This November I pay tribute to these young lads who have forever made a difference in my awareness of Men's Health and Suicide Prevention .

We may never understand the “why” these tragic events occurred, but we can all get behind this fantastic cause that offers support to assist those who are struggling with personal pressures and mental health.

Nobody is immune to feeling depressed and despair and that is why I am supporting this fantastic cause.

I am asking anybody who has ever thought of making a difference in someone’s life, to do it now, and support my quest to raise funds and awareness. I do this in memory of Callum & Sebastian.

Remember ever dollar and every conversation can make a big difference.

So I call upon you to help me in fund raising to support Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible.
