My motivation

I'm raising funds and awareness this Movember for all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in our lives. I need your help. My personal story to share is I was closely involved in supporting my older brother not so long ago through mental health issues where at times I have shed a few tears with feelings of despair and helplessness in preventing him from committing suicide. Whilst I and my darling wife’s offers of support and assistance i.e. my brother living with us for periods of time, spending hours just listening to his stories and frequent check-in phone calls to name a few, as close as we were and still are (as brothers) I was never aware and taken aback by the troubles and demons he had faced in his life. Being a part of a broader network of people (his wife, family, friends and a range of health professionals in QLD) thankfully made a difference with my brother’s health stabilising after 3 very uncertain years. So I am reaching out for some help to achieve my donation target so if you can spare a few coins for the cause I would really appreciate it.
