My motivation

This Movember, I’m growing a moustache—not for the looks (trust me, it’s going to be a mess), but for something far more important. Men’s mental health and suicide prevention. Too many men carry their burdens in silence, hiding behind smiles and stiff upper lips. But here’s the truth: no one should have to face the darkness alone. So, as ridiculous as my moustache may look, it’s my way of starting a conversation that could save a life. It’s a reminder that it’s okay to be vulnerable, okay to ask for help, and okay to admit when things are falling apart. Every life lost to suicide is one too many, and if growing this patchy, awkward moustache can make someone feel less alone, it’s worth every uncomfortable stare. This is for the ones we’ve lost, the ones still struggling, and for all of us learning that it’s okay to not be okay. Let’s grow something bigger than moustaches this Movember—let’s grow understanding, support, and hope.
