Mental health and suicide prevention

This November, I am leading our WA Page Group team – championing men’s mental health by raising awareness to an extremely prevalent yet highly unspoken topic.

It is estimated that 6 people on average are affected by the loss of someone to suicide. It makes nearly all of us a part of a group we don't want to be a member of, yet we still have trouble talking about suicide.

The Movember Foundation has done some amazing work on a global scale, having developed various innovative mental health and suicide prevention programs. Unfortunately, men all too often don't view their physical and mental health as a top priority. WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHANGE THAT.

As most of you may know, I have donned the moustache for just over 4 years. Over that time, my Stache has become a big part of my identity and I have quite figuratively become very attached to it. Nevertheless, I have decided to do a “Reverse Movember” this year – Throughout the month of November I’ll be raising donations for this great cause and will be shaving the Mo on November 30th

Let’s come together & raise money for a topic that’s not talked about nearly enough.
