My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

I have the privilege of working @ South32's GEMCO operation located on Groote Eylandt in East Arnhem Land. This year with support from my employer I'll be running laps of the Alyangula Oval for 12 hours to raise funds for MOVEMBER.

The event is from the 15/11 to the 16/11 from 7:30PM to 7:30AM.

In 2023 I managed to run 117.6kms in 12 hours with some epic support from my GEMCO family - this year I aiming to push my mind and body even further all in the name of supporting MOVEMBER.

The collective emphasis of Movember on improving men's health specifically men's mental health I feel will surely impact these statistics in a positive manner. A healthier, connected and supported community of men across all minority groups of Australia will provide an environment for the next generation of young people to grow and thrive in. I understand this is a simplistic viewpoint but I honestly do believe it. Better men = Better people = Better outcomes for all.

I'm running 1000kms in June/July from my hometown of Port Douglas to the northernmost tip of Australia (Pajinka) in 22 days. I am doing this for the families of those impacted by suicide.
