My motivation

Fundraising for cause areas including:

Mental health and suicide prevention

Fifteen years ago, I lost my brother to suicide. It’s a day I will never forget. It’s a day that changed my life forever in so many ways. It’s a day I can still recall in detail. I remember the phone call from my sister, the words “Greg’s dead”. I remember the long flight from the UK (where I was living at the time). I remember that none of it seemed real. I don’t remember crying…but it just so happens I’m crying whilst typing this.

Mostly, I remember it’s something I didn’t want others to experience.

For many years since that day, I have wanted to get involved with Movember, but didn’t have the courage. Was I ashamed of what had happened? Possibly. Did I not want to talk about it? Probably.

Ultimately, I’m follicly-challenged and can’t really grow facial hair. I’ve just been too embarrassed to give it a go!

But this is the year I’m going to do it, and I’d like your support and help.
