My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

Growing up, depression and suicide were things that I had heard about but was fortunate enough to not experience . I truly believe that without experiencing them, it is hard to understand what people go through that struggle daily with them. Luckily, these days it is talked about and the support and awareness for mental health and suicide is growing. Still, it is sad and sickening when I hear about the rate at which men and women take their lives, and how many people on the daily are dealing with depression. I’ve survived my circumstances and I’m forever grateful everyday, I am alive and I can tell my story and help people from my learned experiences, However, not everyone can be as fortunate as I was, and have that network around them to get them back on their feet. You never know what the person next to you is going through, it could be your father, brother, friend or even a stranger. Nobody is immune from poor mental health or suicidal thoughts (trust me I never thought I could get to that point). For the month of November, I’m going to do 150 push-ups a day, everyday, 4,500 push-ups total, and running/cycling/walking 240km which is about 8kms day, as around 8 people take their lives everyday in Australia. The gym is just one of many things that push me to be a better version of Zac everyday. Through the month, I’ll be posting my progress on social media, and talking a bit more about my own personal story, specifically about the positive things I have changed in my own life to get my mental health back in the spot it needs to be for me to be happy. I do not believe I am the perfect spokesperson or have the best advice or story. I just hope that I can influence my cause through donations or the spreading of awareness. Even if this helps one person, my goal is complete. That is my goal in signing up to the Movember movement. Thank you for reading this long asf paragraph
