My motivation

Globally, the rate of suicide is alarmingly high, particularly in men. We lose 60 men to suicide globally every hour. Too many men are ‘toughing it out’, keeping their feelings to themselves and struggling in silence.

We need to normalise speaking up when we are struggling for our young people. As 60 is such a significant number (and I already have a questionable moustache), for every $1 donated I will run 60 metres. This will be done around the cross country track at my school during recess and lunch to encourage discussion and the importance of speaking up within the school community.
