My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Testicular cancer

Testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young men! Movember is working to reduce the number of deaths from testicular cancer, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

November is very triggering for me and my family after the last two years.
In November 2022 was my first diagnosis received confirming I had Testicular Cancer. This was treated with urgent surgery to remove the cancer.

In November 2023 – Diagnosis confirmed the cancer had come back again and moved into my lymph nodes. Subsequent treatment involved 2months of chemotherapy.

Now in remission, November 2024 is on my terms - So I’ll be doing my bit this year, and have decided to tackle Movember from a few different angles!

1) I’ll be joining thousands of Aussie blokes and “growing the mo”.

2) Considering the extensive conversations initiated by people’s reaction to seeing my bald head (during chemo) and then to see it come back curly, shaving it all off again will no doubt re-spark healthy conversation!

3) Fellas – we need to Get comfortable being uncomfortable!
To get the conversation started, I’ll be getting uncomfortable by running ‘10k a day’ for each day throughout November - total 310km (the most I’ve ever ran in a month)!
