Movember means something very personal to me.
I’ve lost people I cared about to suicide — people who were struggling silently behind smiles. And I know what that darkness feels like, because I’ve been there myself. I’ve battled mental health challenges for years and have faced moments where I didn’t think I’d make it through. I’ve attempted suicide before, and to be here today — growing this moustache, talking about it openly — is something I never take for granted.

That’s why Movember matters to me. It’s not just about growing a mo; it’s about breaking the silence. It’s about starting conversations that could save a life — mine, yours, or someone else’s.

I want to help change the way we talk about men’s health, mental health, and suicide. If my story helps even one person reach out for help or feel less alone, then it’s worth every bit of it.

So this month, I’m growing a mo for those we’ve lost, for those still fighting, and for those who haven’t yet found the words to ask for help.

Because conversations save lives.
