My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

Hi Team,

On November 1st 2026, my beard and I have the privilege of running the New York City Marathon in support of Movember. In doing so I am raising money for a cause close to my heart, supporting my own mental well being and challenging myself to continue to achieve life goals .... I hope you can donate and come on the 42.2km journey through New York with me!

Having lost my Dad to suicide in 2012 and having needed support with my own mental health in life the importance of men's mental well-being and support services is something that I am a strong advocate of.

Movember is a fantastic international charity who have supported 1,250+ Men's Mental and physical health projects, across 23 countries, over the last 20 years.

Movember projects provide men and youths with support services all aimed at suicide prevention, early intervention, and improving mental wellbeing. They offer digital tools and training, youth mental fitness programs, suicide aftercare support and more at a time when globally, on average, 1 man a minute dies by suicide and men are 3 times more likely to die by suicide than women.

Any donation big or small is very much appreciated and every penny raised will provide me with much needed motivation as I approach the gruelling last few miles on the 1st of Movember!
