Every year I am connecting more with the Movember cause and this year I am looking to push myself out of my comfort zone.

Last year my involvement in Movember was all about starting deeper conversations. In person, over the phone and via texts. I found that it helped friends and family to open up, connect and look after each other from a physical and mental health perspective.

This year I am looking to push myself out of my comfort zone in two ways.

1. I will attempt to double my longest ever swim from 5km to 10km in the pool at the AIS. That's 200 laps.

2. I have been thrown the challenge of growing my hair out. I've been freshly shaved now for over five years and the thought of growing whatever I have left leaves my feeling very uncomfortable, but let's have a crack for Movember.

The longest swim I've ever done is 5km. This year I'm aiming to double that to 10km on Tuesday 4 November in the name of Movember.

Amazing JB - but I’m donating so you can shave your hair! All jokes aside, amazing work to you and the ASC team and such an incredibly important cause! Well done in all your activities to raise awareness and funds, from the Sidey fam!

Moustaches have been shaved, leaderboards have been closed, and eternal glory has been achieved.

It is my great honour to announce the Top 5 from this year’s Mo Government & Council Challenge.

Collectively, this community of 1,376 Mo’s from 245 teams across Australia raised an incredible $434,129. Just unbelievable.

This is where change is being made. You are the people creating a better future for men’s health. So from the tips of our moustaches to the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every one of you for the wonderful impact you’ve made.

Keep on changing the world,
Josh from Team Movember

Some serious movement in the rankings, and even more serious funds raised, with the Government and Council Challenge cracking $200,000 for 2023!

These funds go directly to lifesaving programs, helping men live healthier, longer lives. Every one of you has made that possible - thank you.

The leaderboards don't close until the 12th of December, so time for a final push and share those Mo Spaces far and wide! Could there be a late shift in the top 5?

It's not over 'til it's Mo-ver,
Josh from Team Movember

Wow oh wow. Halfway through and we are blown away by your support.

After only 15 days, the Mo Government and Council Challenge is sitting just shy of $100,000 raised. This community is well and truly changing the face of men's health.

Give yourselves a huge pat on the back and keep up the incredible work. A big couple of weeks of goodness on the way.

Inspired by you all,
Josh from Team Movember

Government and Council Mo's of Australia, we are LIVE!!!

Just like that, Movember has begun. So shave down those upper lips, get those running shoes on, and start shouting about the amazing cause that is men's health.

We've got 425 of you incredible people signed up and you've already raised an incredible $13,500. And it's only the 1st of Movember?!

So share those Mo Spaces far and wide, keep encouraging your colleagues and community to sign up, and keep on changing the face of men's health. Thank you for everything you're doing.

It's Mo time,
Josh from Team Movember
