My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Mental health and suicide prevention

I've seen it in the lives of my friends and family, and I've lived in my own. There exists a significant stigma around men talking about their feelings. It's unhealthy, and it's dangerous. Causes like Movember begin a conversation about mental health. They create space for men to ask each other how they are actually doing, creating a culture of men caring deeply for the wellbeing of their friends. Conversations around mental health break down barriers and perceived norms that it's manly to bottle emotion and seem tough. It isn't. It's brave to be honest about your failings and fears.
So, donate to help see The Movember Foundation reduce the rate of male suicide by 25% by 2030.
As importantly, start a conversation, ask a hard question, be honest to yourself and others.

Movember has arrived, and I must part ways with the facial setup that I’m usually running with. But the plan is a handlebar, so it’s all positive from here.
Men’s mental health is a massive issue, and I love the work Movember do in making it visible and encouraging courage in conversations about mental well-being.
