Fundraising for cause areas including:
Prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men worldwide. My father fought a prolonged battle with prostate cancer and lost his life far too early. The Movember Foundation is working to halve the number of deaths from prostate cancer by 2030, and I want to help them get there. Help me stop men dying too young.

A massive thank you to everyone who donated money, good wishes or kind thoughts over the month of Movember. We managed to raise $2150 which is huge as opposed to my moustache, which was not. At least it showed up I guess.

That’s a fundraising PB for me and a nice way to round out this year, 20 years after Dads passing. Thanks once again and you will hear from me for Movember #24 in the NY.

Moustachi-ode

Its almost the end of this hairy month, only one week to go,
Only one more week of close shaves and trims, 7 days to grow.
Before the big reveal of furry face fashion in the end of mo show
Then it’s time to bid a fond farewell to the follicular fellow

Goodbye for another year, one more trip around the sun
One year til the next epistle to the bristle gets done
But one thing that I will definitely remember
Is to shave first thing on the 1st of December.

Here we are at the end of the Mo'nth....its been a long, hair-raising 30 days, which is exactly the point! I received a nice surprise during the week - I have been inducted into the Movember Hall of Fame, which is a nice recognition for the past 22 years of raising money for a very worthy cause. As you can see, the end result is....a pretty pelt, a profusion of pout, a furry follicular face fashion faux pas. Pretty consistent colour and density, with a little more salt and pepper than last year, I guess.

Thanks to all who have and/or will donate. It is greatly appreciated, as always.

Cheers, Dom'Mo

Thats it! Movember is completed once again, and for the big reveal of what Mo#20 looks like.....
Nice density, good even spread across the upper mandible. A bit more salt and pepper, and that's not after dinner, so no excuses there. If anything, Toby's mullet is taking the focus off the mo, so something to change for next time.

Thanks to everyone who has donated thus far, and if you haven't managed to do so yet, you still can!

Thanks to everyone has donated so far, it is greatly appreciated. Doing Movember is not without its unforeseen consequences. I got my Working With Children 5 years ago during Movember. This was not a good look for a WWC card that expires in 2025...

This is it! The end of the Mo’nth of Movember, the final exit on the facial foliage freeway. This is my a la Mo, my piece de Mo’sistance! Its looking quite lush this year, which means either the greenhouse conditions of wearing a mask have helped or the Pfizer side effects may hold hope for the hairless. It may not be a cookie duster but it can certainly whisk a wafer.

Thanks to everyone who has helped me reach my goal of raising $1000 for this very good cause. But please, just because I reached both goals doesn't mean stopping there! Please feel free to contribute to Movember and help set a new target for next year.

This is it! The furry finish to a month of hair-raising adventures, pushing out the pout protector, busting out the bristle brow. As you can see, 18 years of practice does not make anything like perfect. This years effort was a bit more salt than pepper, with less of the hairy rainbow of previous years... I will be happy to ditch the cookie duster as this year has reinforced my realisation that I am allergic to my own facial hair.

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far to this very worthy cause. Please feel free to contribute as you can submit donations after the end of Movember. Prostate cancer doesn't stop then either.

It’s the very last day of Movember, and its time to bid farewell to my furry face foliage for another year. No more need to carefully cultivate the curly keratin curtain, no more manicuring the mellifluous multi-coloured moustache. Its the end of a hairy era, or as some would say, the end of a hairy error. Goodbye, my little furry face friend.

Thanks to everyone who has supported me this year (and previously). It’s for a very good cause, and one that is personally very important to me. Cheers!

This is it, the 2017 moustache ride is coming to an end. Due to the recent humid heat, the florid face flora is flourishing fluffy fronds in a follicular fringe. Yes, the trimmed tufts have truly turfed the top lip. However, the prolific protuberance above the pout is about to be pruned, much to the relief of many....

Thanks to all who have donated thus far, your generosity is greatly appreciated. For those yet to jump aboard the bristly, bushy bandwagon of Movember, just consider the effort put into the alliteration of this post alone...thats got to be worth something.

Cheers DomMo
