My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Testicular cancer

11 years ago on the 4th of March 2011, at the age of 31 I was diagnosed with advanced Testicular cancer which had spread through my abdomen, lungs and brain. With a Beta HCG of 2.6 million I was given a 5% chance of survival. After my first dose of Chemotherapy I suffered a massive brain haemorrhage which would see me transferred from Bendigo to the Austin Hospital where I would undergo emergency brain surgery and remain in a coma for two months post surgery.
After several operations and multiple rounds of chemotherapy, several more operations and rehabilitation I was declared as cancer free in November 2011.
This November I will be celebrating 11 years cancer free.
As Testicular Cancer is the most common cancer in males aged 15 to 40 and is one of the most treatable cancers if caught early my goal is to bring awareness to the signs and symptoms so that no other person has to go through what I went through or worse.
Last year I was able to raise over $10,000 to mark my 10 years of being cancer free.
This year my fund raising target is a bit more modest but my goal is still the same, to raise awareness and hopefully educate men to be more proactive with their health.

We are at the tail end now people!
My mo is looking shmick.
Feel free to share this post. We would love to see any businesses that support men’s health make a donation, even a small one. We have been talking behind the scenes about taking men’s health and concerns to another level in the future and we would love to include you.
Arte et Marte tees are still available to order through Loz’s website for $39.95 and all profit goes to Movember as well. Bloody bonus!

Thanks for all the support so far guys. I really appreciate it
