The Movember Foundation has partnered with the 2018 ISPS HANDA Melbourne World Cup of Golf to make The Metropolitan Golf Club extra hairy from November 21-25.
The World Cup of Golf will feature teams of two-players from the top 28 nations on the world golf rankings. The 59th staging of the event will see the 56-player field vie for the largest prizemoney purse in Australian golf. Amongst this year’s field are Mark Leishman and Cameron Smith from Australia, Tyrrell Hatton and Ian Poulter from the UK, Ryan Fox and Danny Lee from New Zealand, Kyle Stanley and Matt Kuchar from the US, Adam Hadwin and Nick Taylor from Canada, and the defending champions from Denmark, Thorbjørn Olesen with Soren Kjeldsen.
“We are proud to be able to support a global charity that was born in Melbourne,” says ISPS Handa Melbourne World Cup of Golf Executive Director Robyn Cooper.
“Approximately 75% of the world’s golfers are male and from Craig "The Walrus" Stadler to John Daly and our own Geoff Ogilvy to legendary caddie Mike "Fluff" Cowen, the moustache has long been the trademark of the stylish pro golfer.”
Join us at The Metropolitan Golf Club later this month. Tickets to the ISPS HANDA Melbourne World Cup of Golf start from just $27 and are now on sale at www.WorldCupofGolf.com.
