Qantas and Wallabies unveil the Mo plane

Movember Support Takes to the Skies

The Qantas Wallabies officially kicked off their Movember 2012 in Sydney by unveiling a Qantas Boeing 737-800 aircraft, sporting a rather fine moustache. The jet will be flying around the country for the month of November, helping to raise awareness nationally.

Wallabies Pat McCabe, Dave Dennis, Michael Hooper and Stephen Moore all attended the unveiling, with centre, Pat McCabe, saying he's happy to jump on board:

"It may not be the prettiest feature, especially on some of the guys in the team but it's a fun thing to do for a good cause. We are very lucky to be in the position we are in and if we can help raise awareness for serious issues such as prostate cancer and mental health by not shaving our top lips for a few weeks then we are happy to."

Movember has traditionally been a feature of the Qantas Wallabies Spring Tours and this one will be no different. The Wallabies will depart shortly for a challenging four-match Tour, which will include Tests in France, England and Wales and Italy. It will be a battle not only on the field but also a battle of the upper lips, as players from all international sides have committed to the Mo for the month. Movember is a truly international affair.
