Our Motivation

After a tumultuous year, The Marina Mindarie are pleased to be fundraising for Movember to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.

Lifeline reports that 44% of hospitality workers would not talk to anyone if they had a problem and 80% of hospitality workers have admitted that mental health is a challenge faced by the majority within the industry and so we know we need to do more to ensure workers have access to appropriate resources and practical assistance.

2020 might be a year to forget but it is important that we remember the mental health issues it may cause workers, owners and operators in our industry.
