Day 30 - what a ride for my face and everyone else’s eyes! To finish in style I paired my beautiful face-coiffure with a 3 piece Christmas short suit. Functional yet stylish, just like the mo.

One final gigantic thank you to everyone who supported me, your money goes a long way to providing support to Mens health.

My moustache wishes you all farewell, but legend says, if you listen quietly on a cloudless night under a crescent moon you can hear the gentle rustle of short hairs urging you to grow a mo too!

Much love,
Phil

Day 25: the countdown to end of month is on. My tash is now in control. It whispers to me tales of glory, reminding me that without it I am nothing.

Can I shave it off in less than a week? I’m not sure I have the strength. But then my mo tells me I am a lion and can achieve anything.

Last few days to support this ⬆️, and indeed all moustaches, and to support men’s health. Donate at the above link ❤

Day 21: unveiling the mo on a grand stage, day 1, ball 1 of the Ashes. Will the Australians crumble in fear? Unlikely but I’m not taking the blame for Root’s duck.

At least my upper lip has shade!

Day 19: no longer shall I hide in the shadows, for my tache now pulls me onwards to greatness.

Went swimming, my beautiful mo cut the water ahead of me like an otter. Downside was I had to remove 2 flies and a bandaid from the old soup strainer. Might try the sea next, probably more hygienic.

2/3 of the way there team. Thanks to all for the ongoing support.

Day 14: fully 2 weeks in, perhaps it’s wishful thinking or perhaps I’ve gone delusional after being shunned by my friends, family and society as a whole but suddenly my Mo seems - better?

Maybe better isn’t the right word, more present perhaps? Like an anchor to reality, drawing people’s gaze in now rather than scaring them away. Babies no longer cry when they see me and the dog rolled onto its back in submission when I arrived home.

I’m still working on the wife but I caught her side-eyeing me so I reckon the only way is up. Stay strong brothers still fighting through the ‘on-a-register’ phase, better times are just ahead!

Day 11: Finally some progress to cheer, Monday was touch and go, the high winds threatened to set back my growth by blowing any growth back into my face, fortunately I avoided any aeolian erosion.

While we’re nowhere luxurious yet, we’ve moved out of pre-pubescent at least! Onwards and upwards.

Day 7: Fully a week in and progress is clear, but unpleasant. The mo is currently at the “playing music through your phone speaker on the train” stage.

Went for a walk with my wife, tried to hold her hand. She screamed, kneed me in the happy sacks and ran away. Didn’t blame her.

Currently holding onto the saying that it’s always darkest before the dawn like a drowning man clinging to a life ring.

3rd November. Progress is slow and morale low. My wife will no longer look me in the eyes and the dog sits in my seat at the dinner table. Considered pulling a Captain Oates and going for a long walk, weather was pleasant so had to return. Surely the only way is up?
