Moustaches have been shaved, leaderboards have been closed, and eternal glory has been achieved.

It is my great honour to announce the Top 5 from this year’s Mo Government & Council Challenge.

Collectively, this community of 1,376 Mo’s from 245 teams across Australia raised an incredible $434,129. Just unbelievable.

This is where change is being made. You are the people creating a better future for men’s health. So from the tips of our moustaches to the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and every one of you for the wonderful impact you’ve made.

Keep on changing the world,
Josh from Team Movember

Some serious movement in the rankings, and even more serious funds raised, with the Government and Council Challenge cracking $200,000 for 2023!

These funds go directly to lifesaving programs, helping men live healthier, longer lives. Every one of you has made that possible - thank you.

The leaderboards don't close until the 12th of December, so time for a final push and share those Mo Spaces far and wide! Could there be a late shift in the top 5?

It's not over 'til it's Mo-ver,
Josh from Team Movember

Wow oh wow. Halfway through and we are blown away by your support.

After only 15 days, the Mo Government and Council Challenge is sitting just shy of $100,000 raised. This community is well and truly changing the face of men's health.

Give yourselves a huge pat on the back and keep up the incredible work. A big couple of weeks of goodness on the way.

Inspired by you all,
Josh from Team Movember

It's Day 14 of Movember 2023, and we're checking out another long time Mo Bro... James Berkefeld!!

James is a 13 year Mo Bro up until last year, joining the Movengers way back in 2009. James happily joined in any shenanigans that we came up with, as the Movember cause was something he felt very strongly about. Once James hit his stride he took off, becoming one of only 3 team members to raise over $3000 in a year, and averaging $2200 for 7 straight years!!

James has raised nearly $17,000 for Movember Australia and has deservedly won our Man of Movember award before... and this year James was also elevated to the Movember Hall of Fame for his efforts over the years. Thank you James for being such a great Movenger, and a fun teammate!!

For Day 10 I would like to talk about one of the original KWS Mo Bros... a 15 year veteran up until 2022, the one and only Gavin Davis!
Gavin had the distinction of managing to increase his total funds raised every year for almost the entire 15 years, while at the same time proclaiming every year that he was completely unable to grow a Mo!
The fact that Gavin has raised close to $10,000 over the years shows that, while he was quite correct about being unable to grow a Mo, this never stood in the way of Gavin implementing increasingly cunning plans to do good and support men's health!
Thank you Gavin for being an oustanding Movenger! (and an amazing male lead in the annual BMT antics!)

For Day 9 of Movember 2023 we had another throwback from the vault. This one is a celebration of last Tuesday... the Mo that stops a nation!!
In 2014 we celebrated the first running of the Mo'bourne Cup. Held in the big training room on Level 11, there were several heats involving laps on our Hobby Horses around the tables, and eventually a final race. This definitely produced a winner, but I am not sure who!! From the photos, I think James Berkefeld defeated me and Michael Wilson knocked out Joe, and then possibly James beat Michael in the final...?
Hopefully one of them can remember and boast about it when they see this. Anyway, we had a great time and got too sweaty for work.
Thanks Viv Lee for acting as Steward of the course, and James, Michael Wilson and Joe Marin for taking part in the great race!

After a rotten start to the month (first day of Movember spent in Emergency), things have
settled down and got going with the fundraising.

This is the 20th anniversary of Movember itself, and my 17th year taking part. I have
decided to celebrate this by celebrating some of the people and events from the last
17 years, especially as I no longer see everyone at work every day.

It's impossible to discuss Movember at KW Street without mentioning the original
King and Queen... Joe and Jacinta!! Both were members of the team at work from the
very early days, and for a while we thought they would NEVER be dethroned as Man of
Movember and Miss Movember...

Thanks both of you for all your Movember efforts... here is a pic from about 2012/13!

Government and Council Mo's of Australia, we are LIVE!!!

Just like that, Movember has begun. So shave down those upper lips, get those running shoes on, and start shouting about the amazing cause that is men's health.

We've got 425 of you incredible people signed up and you've already raised an incredible $13,500. And it's only the 1st of Movember?!

So share those Mo Spaces far and wide, keep encouraging your colleagues and community to sign up, and keep on changing the face of men's health. Thank you for everything you're doing.

It's Mo time,
Josh from Team Movember

Hey Andrew, thought I’d drop by to say a big hairy thanks for flying the flag for men’s health (again) this year. 16 years, that is huge. Thanks for all that you do.

Great to see you Moving this year, 141km is an awesome achievement. There’s still plenty of fun to be had this Hairy Season so keep it up.

And we're off! It's the start of yet another Movember, but a very different one for me, and for the Movengers Team, this year. Not much of a presence at work, which has been the mainstay of our fundraising for many years, with only Hazel flying the flag at 100 King William Street.
Trying not to worry too much about it, because we always somehow get it done... but a few big mystery donors would definitely come in handy!!
