I’m pledging grow a mo and move. Come rain, hail or shine, night or day, run 5km a day for month of November.
This journey is a personal one for me as my Dad has been through prostate cancer several years ago. .
I was due to board a plane back to Canada the following morning and called my parents to say goodbye before I left. Dad dropped a massive bombshell on me that he had just been diagnosed with prostate cancer. I was broken emotionally and wanted to cancel my trip and fly back home to be with them. He calmly told me not to as there was nothing anyone could do for him right now and he had to ride out the treatments. He wanted me to go and enjoy my trip to the snow in Whistler and told me everything will be ok.
