My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Prostate cancer
Testicular cancer
Mental health and suicide prevention

This year is a little sadder for me in that three individuals within my personal and professional life decided to take their own lives. As with previous Movember campaigns where I targeted improving overall mental and physical health for men, I'm keen to promote awareness for measures and networks that can help reduce the risk of suicide.

Thank you for the support this year. This photo was after I punched out my last 23.02kms on the 29th. I applied a filter to match my 70s tash.

Nothing like a long ride with a mate to make up for some lost Kilometers this week. A bit of fun with the weather all over the place. Appreciate the company and chat today Matt.

I had planned to average 9kms a day to hit my 270kms for Movember. It's been relatively challenging to hit my averages. With the accumulation of the missed kilometres, I need to average 15kms a day now. I pushed through to punch these out today. Felt like I was doing this for family and friends who are working through some challenging life changing chapters. Know that you've always got a fellow brother to speak with. Never give up, no matter how low you are. Someone cares about you, often more then you think.

Easy 17km over Bruce Ridge. The gum trees are beautiful to run through and shelter from the winds.

Well, finally kick started my Movember movement journey for 2021. I'd originally decided prior to November I'd do 200km walking, running, or riding for the month. Then after doing my 40km ride on Saturday and 20km run on Sunday, I thought I'd up my own anti. For whatever reason I landed on 270km. I think it was based on doing 9km a day which I thought was achievable and easy to make up if I missed a day.

Figured I'd better pull my finger out and start.

This year I'm focusing on raising awareness for mental well-being.
