My motivation
Fundraising for cause areas including:
Men's health
Mental health and suicide prevention

The number of deaths by suicide in Australia and globally are horrifically high.
Nationally in Australia in 2020; the number of deaths by suicide was nearly three times the national road deaths in the same year.
75% of those that took their own life were Male.

We need to be able to talk about our mental health without being guarded, without the humour to mask it and without the bravado.
Blokes need to know that reaching out for help when your not coping is okay, that you don’t need to try and shoulder it all on your own.

We need to fund and raise awareness of the services available to people who are struggling; people who are low and in dark places mentally.

We need to make a change because this goes beyond the statistics.

Four years ago, my Mate took his own life. He was 27.
We'd known each since primary school and had grown up together.

We should of never lost him, he had so much ahead of him in life.
I want him remembered not as a statistic but as the absolute legend that he was.

Movember was a cause that he proudly threw himself behind; participating and raising money for multiple years.

Now we; his mates carry on his work fundraising for Movember along with his Dad and his family.

If you ever find yourself down that hole mentally, know that you have tunnel vision in that moment.
There are so many people out there that would do absolutely anything at anytime of the day for you.
You only need to reach out.

Remember it’s never weak to speak.
